Jerome L. Perron

Jerome L. Perron, 93, was born in Fond du Lac on April 4, 1927 to Esther Braun and Leo Perron of Eden. Jerome went to be with our Lord on July 30, 2020.
Jerome was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and will be dearly missed by his family, extended family and many friends.
Jerome worked in agri-business all his life and retired from Grande Cheese Company of Brownsville in 1993.
He married Vivian Flood in June 1950 and had two sons, Joseph and Timon. Jerome lived in Brownsville until his retirement when he and wife, Vilma, moved to Park Place Estates in Harlingen, TX. After her death in 2000, he married Beatrice Perron and they made Park Place Estates their permanent home.
Jerome is survived by his wife, Beatrice; his two sons, Dr. Joseph (Rita) Perron, Madison, and Timon (Shellie) Perron, Campbellsport; four grandchildren, Isaac (Betsy) Perron, Campbellsport, Katie (Mike) Glienke, Wheaton, IL, Hannah (Chris) Perron, Chicago, IL, and Daniel (Sarah) Perron, Chicago, IL; great-grandchildren, Cullen and Vivian Perron, Campbellsport, and Ella and Cal Glienke, Wheaton, IL; as well as his four step-children, eight step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.
Jerome was a very active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Harlingen. He worked on the Board of Properties committee for several years before becoming an Elder in the church, where he served for four years, at which time, he was given the honor of being an Elder Emeritus, continuing to serve sacraments. He loved his church and church family. In 2001, he took a comprehensive course in Hands on Ministry and volunteered in the Hospital Auxiliary at Valley Baptist Medical Center. He also volunteered in several other capacities at the hospital before working out of the chaplain’s office, where he visited patients in the hospital.
Jerome also volunteered and participated in many activities in the Mobile/RV Park Place Estates in which he lived. He was instrumental in chairing the first “In-House” Pictorial Directory at Park Place Estates. He was a member of the Kitchen Band for many years. He could be called on to lend a helping hand at almost any time.
Jerome loved spending his time playing volleyball and working in his shop on stained glass and woodworking projects, especially handmade wooden pens and different types of bowls, which he turned on his lathe.
Jerome will be at rest in the Ledgeview Memorial Park, N6350 County Trunk K, in Fond du Lac.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Heavenly Grace in LaFeria.
