Boyd A. Kelm

Boyd A. Kelm, 80, of Fond du Lac, died on Fri­day, Sep­tem­ber 16, 2022, at Hope Health and Rehab in Lomira.
He was born on March 31, 1942, in Wa­ter­town, the son of Elmer and Edith Brown Kelm. On June 10, 1972, he mar­ried Mau­reen L. O’Con­nell at Church of Our Sav­iour in Fond du Lac.
Boyd worked for Mayville Metal Prod­ucts for 45 years as a sheer op­er­a­tor. He was a mem­ber of Church of Our Sav­iour, where he also served on the Prop­erty Com­mit­tee and the church dart­ball team. Boyd loved to hunt and fish, and was a mem­ber of the Lost Arrow Archery Club. He be­came very fa­mil­iar hunt­ing in the Hori­con Marsh with his fa­ther and brother. He car­ried that love on and took his sons out hunt­ing in the El­do­rado Marsh, as well as hunt­ing with fam­ily in Elcho, Wis­con­sin.
He is sur­vived by his wife of 50 years, Mau­reen Kelm of Fond du Lac; his son, Chad (Dawn) Kelm of Mayville; his daugh­ter, Tanya (Tom) Stef­fen of Fond du Lac; his step­son, Gary (Amanda) Gar­low, and his step­daugh­ter, Teri Gar­low both of Fond du Lac; his grand­chil­dren, Matthew Gar­low and Justin Gar­low; his sis­ter Fern (Ted) Lamars of Dan­bury, WI, and his nieces and nephews.
He is pre­ceded in death by his par­ents and his sib­lings: Jimmy, Betty (Gor­don) Cook, Faye Mor­gan and Roy (Alma) Kelm.
Cre­ma­tion has taken place. Pri­vate Fam­ily Grave­side Ser­vices will be held at Rienzi Ceme­tery.
In lieu of flow­ers, memo­ri­als ap­pre­ci­ated to Hope Nurs­ing Home in Lomira or Church of Our Sav­iour.
