Tracie Jane Adelmeyer

Tra­cie Jane Adelmeyer, 33, passed away on Sun­day, Nov. 20, 2022.
She was born on April 12, 1989, to Mark and Dar­lene Adelmeyer in Fond du Lac.
Tra­cie grad­u­ated from Waupun High School in 2010 and since high school has been going to the Green Val­ley En­ter­prises SNAP pro­gram.
Tra­cie will be re­mem­bered by her joy­ful and free-spir­ited na­ture. Her joy­ous and some­times mis­chie­vous smile, sense of humor, sur­pris­ing sass and sweet gig­gle cap­ti­vated all those who knew her. Tra­cie would ask Mom to make her “hair pretty” every morn­ing, leav­ing the house with a bounce in her step on the way to the bus. She could often be found car­ry­ing her fa­vorite books and stuffed an­i­mals along on her many ad­ven­tures. These in­cluded camp­ing, hik­ing, bik­ing, and swim­ming with fam­ily, and car rides to “nowhere” with Dad. She loved hang­ing out and spend­ing time with her brother and sis­ters, par­tic­u­larly swing­ing and sit­ting on the porch. She was mes­mer­ized by and loved ba­bies and chil­dren, es­pe­cially her nieces and nephews. She was gen­er­ous with giv­ing hugs and ex­pressed her love with a kiss, fol­lowed by the words “very much.” She will be fiercely missed and in our hearts for­ever.
Tra­cie is sur­vived by her par­ents; sib­lings, Jamie Adelmeyer, Jackie (Jon) Ste­gall, Janessa (Jeff) Adelmeyer, Eric Adelmeyer, and Angel (Jason) Imm; nieces and nephews, Juliet and June Ste­gall, Mason and Mor­gan Schwo­erer, Milo and Benno Mitchell; and a large com­mu­nity of fam­ily and friends.
Tra­cie was pre­ceded in death by her ma­ter­nal grand­par­ents, Helen Gun­drum and Bernard Gun­drum; pa­ter­nal grand­par­ents, Mon­ica and Ar­mond “Jack” Adelmeyer; nephew, Daniel Lee; and many beloved aunts, un­cles, and cousins.
Vis­i­ta­tion took place on Sat­ur­day, Nov. 26, from 9:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 653 Mil­wau­kee St., Lomira, WI, 53048.
A Mass of Chris­t­ian Bur­ial fol­lowed the vis­i­ta­tion at the church on Sat­ur­day at 12 p.m. Bur­ial fol­lowed in St. Mary Ceme­tery.
