Volunteer at Lizard Mound State Park CLARICE CASE EDITOR On Saturday, March 9, the Farmington Historical Society held a meeting that included a presentation by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) on Lizard Mound State Park, located in the Town of Farmington, which they reacquired from Washington County in 2021. Lizard Mound is a Native American burial ground with 28 effigy mounds.
