Have things gotten off to a slower start this year? Can’t recall when, other than dandelions and dirt clods, farm fields looked as fallow as they do right now. Near enough untilled. Though a person knows better. Written during waning days in May, a few green sprouts break through the topsoil. Usually, as we plunge into June, corn is up and grows
