Kevin A. Cannon, Sr., 69, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, at Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.
There will be a celebration of Kevin’s life at Old Hickory Golf Course in Beaver Dam on Sunday, Feb. 2, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Kevin Allan was born on February 16, 1955, in Oak Park, IL, to Benjamin and Adeline (Dutzle) Cannon.
On July 21, 1973, he married Bernice Reinwald in Horicon. Together, they raised their family in Mayville.
Kevin worked at Mayville Metal for many years before retiring in 2013. Following his retirement, he joined the Mayville School District as a custodian, a role he cherished for the opportunity it gave him to interact with some of his grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A lover of the outdoors, Kevin found joy in hunting, fishing, camping, and ATV adventures. He also enjoyed attending car shows and observing the world around him with a keen eye. Kevin and Bernice shared a passion for cruising; they delighted in the entertainment, activities, food and drink tastings aboard ship and especially loved relaxing together in the hot tub.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Bernice Cannon of Beaver Dam; sons, Kevin (Hyonsuk) Cannon, Jr. of Sun Prairie and Justin (Tamra) Cannon of Wabeno; grandchildren, Sean and Krista Cannon and Benjamin Cannon; mother, Adeline Cannon of Mayville; siblings, Grover (Cheri) Cannon, Jan (Duane) Sabel, and Dale Cannon; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin.
Kevin’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his love for life and the outdoors continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in his journey.
