Richard J. Skudlarczyk, 97, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2024, at his home.
He was born on January 18, 1927, in Milwaukee to Joseph and Helen (Zielinski) Skudlarczyk.
Richard worked for many years at Johnson Control and then later at Mayville Metal Products. After retirement, he moved to Arkansas where he farmed for some years before returning to Wisconsin.
He enjoyed construction, building four different homes during his life. He always looked forward to grilling and spending that time together with his family.
Richard is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nancy; children, Germaine (Fred) Pidgeon, Raymond (Cynthia) Emmer, Brian (Kathy) Emmer, Paul (Tiffany) Emmer, Marirose Johnson, Kevin Emmer, Danyl Skudlarczyk, Christopher Emmer; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchild; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; four brothers; daughter, Eileen Klatt; son, Daniel Emmer; son, Dale Skudlarczyk; grandchildren, Brian Emmer, Gary Emmer, and Sandra Emmer.
Visitation: Richard’s family welcomes relatives and friends to a time of visitation at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac, on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following visitation on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
