Cement Truck Overturns On Lake Drive

Cement Truck Overturns On Lake Drive

A Carew cement truck overturned along Double D Road just south of the intersection with Lake Drive in the Town of Auburn. The truck came to rest on its side, with cement that was inside spilling out on the lawn. It occurred in the early morning hours when the roads were a little icy. It appears the cement truck lost control going around a corner and overturned into the back yard of a neighboring residence. Crews from Whealon Towing and Service from Fond du Lac were called out to the scene to get the truck upright again and tow it away. Officers from the Fond du Lac Sheriff’s Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol were on the scene for a few hours helping to secure the scene and direct traffic.
