Randy Kircher

Randy Kircher

They say, “quiet waters run deep”. On Monday, August 19, 2019, the quiet waters of Randy Kircher slipped away unexpectedly. Happy to be in the quiet of a deer stand, walking fields with his dog, or sitting in the still of a fishing boat, his favorite position was reclined at home watching the activity of his family. It was at these times when his subtle baritone laughter rose from the depth from his chest. Randy began his life with his family in West Bend on 12-8-59. It was with his father and brothers that he learned to love the outdoors and the beauty of Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine country. From his mother, he learned to cherish home and family. After graduation from West Bend East in 1978 his love of nature drew him to Colorado, where he became an entrepreneur in the tiling trade. Upon return to his beloved home of Wisconsin, Randy entrusted his dad to arrange a rendezvous with Sheila. It wasn’t long before they were married, on September 28, 1991 and in 2002, Randy became a father with the birth of his daughter, Rachel. They made their home on the edge of Campbellsport. Randy worked at the Strowig Tool and Die company as a shipping coordinator. In his free time he continued his love of the outdoors and nurtured his encyclopedic knowledge of American history, especially the era of World War II. Of greater importance than these, Randy was a man of strong convictions who loved his family to his fullest ability. He spent many hours in the stands of Campbellsport High School cheering, in his quiet way, for the varsity dance team, of which Rachel has been a part for four years. The ripples of Randy’s life is in those whom he has left behind. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Kircher (nee Huizinga); daughter, Rachel Kircher; brothers, Keith and Todd, and their family, Stacy, Brandon, Shaun, and many others. He is preceded in Heavenly peace by his mother, Kathleen Renk Kircher, and his father, Vincent Kircher. A Funeral Service for Randy will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2019, at Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church (323 South 5th Avenue, West Bend). Rev. Clarissa Martinelli will officiate and burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park (3358 Paradise Drive, West Bend). Family will greet relatives and friends at the church from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service. The Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home of West Bend has been entrusted with Randy’s arrangements. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.myrhum-patten.com.
