Karen M. Ondrejka, 84, of Mayville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, at Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Waupun.    Karen was born on December 15, 1938, to Ruben and Adeline (Riley) Kohli.   She was a Mayville High School graduate and lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mayville.   Karen was united in marriage to George Ondrejka on October 17, 1959, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.   Karen worked for many years in the office at MEC and later retired from there.    Many wonderful family memories were made spending time together at their lake home on Beaver Dam Lake. There they enjoyed fishing, playing cribbage, and just relaxing and being together. Karen could often be found passing time listening to music, such as polkas, or reading. Most of all she loved doing word search books. Karen could work on these for hours and hours.    Karen is survived by her children, Brian Ondrejka (special friend Belinda) and Lisa (Brian) Schultz; grandchildren, Brent (Brittany) Schultz and Kyle Schultz (special friend Brandie); three great-grandchildren, Parker, Tyson, and Kylie Schultz; and two sisters-in-law, Alice Boerst and Mary Ondrejka. Karen will be further missed by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.   Karen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; her brother, Norman (Lucy) Kohli; and her mother and father-in-law.    In honoring Karen’s wishes, a private family burial will take place.    The family would like to thank the staff at Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Waupun, as well as Generations Hospice.    Anita Marie Froem­ming, 93, of Hori­con, passed away on Sun­day, Oct. 8, 2023, at Hill­side Manor in Beaver Dam.    Anita was born the daugh­ter of Her­man and Regina (Beisbier) Ruh­land on June 22, 1930, in the Town of LeRoy.   She was united in mar­riage to Roland Froem­ming at St. An­drew’s Catholic Church in LeRoy on De­cem­ber 30, 1950.   Anita was a faith­ful mem­ber of Sa­cred Heart Parish in Hori­con.   Anita was very nur­tur­ing and kind by na­ture and was known as the neigh­bor­hood grandma. She en­joyed cook­ing and bak­ing de­li­cious treats for her fam­ily and friends. The fam­ily al­ways gath­ered at her house for the hol­i­days.    Anita will be re­mem­bered by her chil­dren, Mar­lene (David) Lentz of Juneau, Rev. David (Kathy) Froem­ming of Lan­caster, and Jan­ice (Dan) Roethle of Hori­con; her grand­chil­dren, Caitlin (Brad) En­gel­mann, Brian (Na­talie) Froem­ming, Teresa (Chris) Sawyer; five great-grand­chil­dren, Alex, Zach­ery, Luca, Em­mett, and Howard; her sis­ter, LaV­er­nia Ruh­land of Juneau; and good friend, Jan­ice Smith. Anita is fur­ther sur­vived by her nieces, nephews, other rel­a­tives, and friends.    Anita was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents; her hus­band, Roland; a brother, Mar­vin; and her sis­ter, Do­lores.    A Mass of Chris­t­ian Bur­ial for Anita will be held on Mon­day, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m. at Sa­cred Heart Parish in Hori­con with Rev. Fr. Justin Lop­ina pre­sid­ing.   Florence C. “Flo” Glamann (Mueller), 98, of Mayville was called home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2023, at Crossroads Care Center in Mayville surrounded by her loving family.   Flo was born on October 4, 1924, in Iron Ridge to Herman and Elsie Mueller (Wolters).   On March 21, 1942, she was united in marriage to Vernon C. Glamann at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge.   Flo retired from Tab Products in Mayville.   She enjoyed baking and sharing her treats with everyone. Flo was an avid Sheepshead player and spent many evenings at card parties with friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with family.    Those Flo leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sharon Wild of Mayville; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Glamann of Lake Wales, FL; three grandchildren, Tricia Wild of Mayville, John (Kathie) Wild of Mayville, and Faith Glamann of Lake Wales, FL; two great-grandchildren, Landen Wild and Abby Glamann; and brother-in-law, Marvin Glamann of West Bend. Flo is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.    In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Glamann; two infant daughters, Cindy and Susanne; son, Dr. John Glamann; son-in-law, Gene Wild; four siblings, Marion (Lester) Gnerlich, Roland (Joan) Mueller, Wilbert (Angie) Mueller, and Merlin Mueller; four sisters-in-law, Viola (John) James, Ruth (Ardell) Schmidt, Bernice (Elmer) Bunkoske, and Pearl (Richard) Schulz; and brothers-in-law, Don Glamann and Palmer Glamann (infant).    A Private Family Service will be held.    The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Crossroad Care Center in Mayville and Generations Hospice for their care and compassion.   Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Flo’s arrangements.    Mar­vin Twar­dokus, 86, of rural Hart­ford passed away peace­fully at Au­rora Med­ical Cen­ter in Hart­ford on Sep­tem­ber 28, 2023.   Mar­vin was born on Au­gust 17, 1937, to Frank and Hilda (nee Quandt). He was bap­tized and con­firmed in the Chris­t­ian faith at Trin­ity Ev. Lutheran Church, Huils­burg (Hart­ford).   Mar­vin grew up work­ing along­side his par­ents on the fam­ily farm.    He mar­ried Ar­lene Schwarze on No­vem­ber 10, 1956, at Zion Lutheran Church in Hori­con and they were blessed with a happy mar­riage for over 49 years. They made the fam­ily farm their home and raised five chil­dren.   Mar­vin was an ac­tive life­long mem­ber of Trin­ity Ev. Lutheran Church and served on Church Coun­cil, as a KML del­e­gate and as build­ing su­per­vi­sor. His faith and trust in the Lord were so im­por­tant to him. His life's work was farm­ing. He loved clear­ing and work­ing the land, wood­work­ing, build­ing, chain saw­ing, weld­ing, and milk­ing cows, along­side his fam­ily on their farm.   Over the years he re­ceived an Out­stand­ing Young Farmer Award as well as a Land Con­ser­va­tion Award with his fam­ily. He served as an AAL pres­i­dent for years and en­joyed mem­ber­ship in the Farm Bu­reau in his com­mu­nity. He al­ways loved to visit with fam­ily and friends and al­ways greeted every­one with a smile.   Mar­vin is sur­vived by his five chil­dren, Ronald Twar­dokus of Hart­ford, Lori (Bruce) Braun of Hart­ford, Dale (Kathy) Twar­dokus of Mayville, Sharyl (Bill) New­bury of Fontanelle, IA, and Dean (Car­rie) Twar­dokus of Mayville; grand­chil­dren, Andy (Rachel) Braun, Katie (Cam) Ausen, Rachel (Kyle) Bacon, Jacob Braun, Karo­line (fiancé, Cody Homan) Twar­dokus, Kevin (fiancée, Amanda Strupp) Twar­dokus, Kaitlin (Kyle) Jenks, Shan­non and Nora New­bury, and Nathan (Jes­sica) Twar­dokus; great-grand­chil­dren, Glo­ria and Evan­ge­line Braun, Miles and Mar­got Ausen and Olivia Twar­dokus. He is fur­ther sur­vived by his sis­ter, Ir­m­gard (Elmer) Meyer; brother-in-law, Ervin But­zlaff; sis­ter-in-law, Louise (Charles) Wag­ner; and many nieces, nephews, rel­a­tives, and friends.   Mar­vin was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents; brother, Ray­mond; sis­ter, Lor­raine (in in­fancy); wife, Ar­lene (2006); par­ents-in-law, Vic­tor and Lucy Schwarze; sis­ters-in-law, June But­zlaff and Mary Ellen Ras­mussen; and grand­son, Trent Twar­dokus.  Fu­neral ser­vices for Mar­v­in­were held on Wednes­day, Oct. 4, at 1 p.m. at Trin­ity Ev. Lutheran Church in Huils­burg, with Rev. Jef­fery Drake of­fi­ci­at­ing. A vis­i­ta­tion for Mar­vin was held at the Koepsell Fu­neral Home in Mayville on Tues­day, Oct. 3, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again at church on Wednes­day, Oct. 4 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of ser­vice at 1 p.m. In­ter­ment fol­lowed the ser­vice at Trin­ity Ev.
