OF NATURAL RESOURCES The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) released the results of its annual Roadside Ruffed Grouse Drumming Survey. Wayne Wodsedalek

Wayne Wodsedalek


Wayne Milton Wodsedalek. age 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Aurora Baycare Medical Center in Green Bay, WI, surrounded by his family. He was born August 20th, 1941, in Kewaunee, WI to Milton and Helen (nee Simon) Wodsedalek. Wayne grew up on his family farm in Casco, WI and graduated from Casco High School. Wayne met the love of his life and married Margaret (nee Kirchmann) on March 10th, 1962. Wayne worked at Gehl Company in West Bend, then became a truck driver. During his trucking career he logged over 5 million miles. He retired from trucking in 2002. Wayne enjoyed golfing, riding motorcycles and playing cards, especially sheepshead. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his children and grandchildren play various sports. Wayne was also a connoisseur of Wisconsin cheeses and sausages. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Margaret; his children Darrell (Mariellen) Wodsedalek, Dale (Linda) Wodsedalek, Darain Wodsedalek, Marla (Gary) Muhasky, Dallas (Tracy) Wodsedalek, Marlene Alexander and Monica (Joseph) Zaleski; grandchildren Thomas (Theresa) and Jennifer Wodsedalek, Deric, Dylan (Hannah) and Dawson Wodsedalek, Jeffrey Frye, Brooke (Joshua) Segerstrom and Beth (Aric) VanEss, Tyler (Megan), Cody, and Haley Alexander, and 16 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by sisters Sherri (David) Osterloth, Sharlene Michener, Jean Dell, Dawn Wodsedalek and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents. A special thanks to the staff of Aurora Baycare Medical Center, Green Bay for their care and compassion provided to Wayne and his family. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 11AM, at Evergreen Cemetery, E6067 Hwy 54, Algoma, WI 54201. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Wayne’s memory to The American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
