Raymond “Ray” J. Saegert
Raymond “Ray” J. Saegert, 55, of Lomira, has found peace and entered eternal life on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022 at Froedtert Hospital of Milwaukee.
He was born on January 2, 1967, to parents Jacqueline Lou Schellinger (nee Pierce) and Richard Saegert in Hartford.
Ray was a hardworking electrician for over 20 years, and his hardworking attitude translated over to many other talents and hobbies. As a handy man, he enjoyed wood working, as well as building and fixing things. He was an excellent cook and loved grilling for his friends and family, usually with a NASCAR race, or a Packer or Brewer game playing in the background. Anyone that knew Ray, knew that his love for the Green Bay Packers, and his collection of Packer memorabilia was unmatched! Ray also enjoyed deer hunting with his buddies and nephews, and he was known to kick everyone’s butts in pool. In his free time, Ray and family made it a point to go on camping trips and vacations together as much as they could, including tropical vacations to Cazumel, Mexico, and Jamacia, where his love for Reggae music only grew fonder. Ray had a big heart for helping others which he showed through volunteer work with the Wheelchair bowling organization at Dave’s Lanes in Hartford for many years.
Ray is survived by his loving and committed significant other, Tina Rivord; cherished children, Lynnea (Michael) Drummond, Larysa (Jordan) Burac; adored grandchild and Grandpa’s little princess, Evelyn Drummond; dear siblings, Dave (Linda) Saegert, Rick Saegert, and Lisa Peters. Ray is further survived by many nieces and nephews, and other loved relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held for Ray on Friday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union Street, Hartford, WI 53027), with Deacon Mark Jansen officiating. Ray’s family will greet friends and relatives at the funeral home from 3 p.m to 5:50 p.m before the service starts.
Memorial contributions in honor of Ray are appreciated to the Wheelchair bowling organization at Dave’s Lanes in Hartford.
