Must’ve done a Rip Van Winkle. Okay, much shorter. While I slept, a subtle change came. During one of the hot days, a cruise down Highway 45 from Eden and descent through the DeNeveau heights, spotted the dogwood’s too soon crimson blush roadside.
A brief blaze which died to a drab burgundy. But it’s not as if there weren’t other signs.
