Nine Charged in Waupun Prison Deaths CLARICE CASE EDITOR Prior to a press conference held by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) on June 5, nine State of Wisconsin employees were arrested in connection with two of the four deaths that occurred at Waupun Correctional Institute (WCI) beginning back on June 29, 2023. No charges are being filed at this time in the other two deaths.
