James “Jim” Jaeger

James “Jim” Jaeger, 89, of Camp­bell­sport, passed away un­ex­pect­edly on Mon­day, Sept. 2, 2024.
He was born on Au­gust 27, 1935, to the late Ken­neth and Eve­lyn (nee Schoepke) Jaeger in Camp­bell­sport.
On Sat­ur­day, May 18, 1974, he was united in mar­riage to Judy Zehren at Holy Trin­ity Catholic Church in Ke­waskum.
Jim worked var­i­ous jobs be­fore get­ting in­volved with the Singer Co. Then he owned and op­er­ated his sewing busi­ness, Jaeger Sewing in Ke­waskum.
He was a mem­ber of the Ket­tle Moraine Car Club, the EAA Ul­tra­light Chap­ter, and Holy Trin­ity Catholic Church. Jim en­joyed read­ing, trav­el­ing, and fly­ing his ul­tra­light, and was a pilot for over 45 years. He es­pe­cially en­joyed spend­ing time with fam­ily and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Those Jim leaves be­hind to cher­ish his mem­ory in­clude his lov­ing wife of 50 years, Judy Jaeger; two chil­dren, Jesse (Jackie) Jaeger and Jeanne Jaeger; brother-in-law, David Zehren; three sis­ters-in-law, Janet Jaeger, Diane Jaeger, and Mary (Den­nis) Larsen; nieces, nephews, other rel­a­tives and friends.
In ad­di­tion to his par­ents, he was pre­ceded in death by his in­fant child, Julie Jaeger; his two broth­ers, Tom Jaeger and Jack Jaeger; and sis­ter-in-law, Ca­r­ole Zehren (nee Schultz).
VIS­I­TA­TION: Jim’s fam­ily greeted rel­a­tives and friends at Holy Trin­ity Catholic Church, 305 Main Street, in Ke­waskum, on Thurs­day, Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. until 11:45 p.m.
SER­VICE: A Mass of Chris­t­ian Bur­ial for Jim was held at 12 p.m. on Thurs­day, Sept. 5, at Holy Trin­ity Catholic Church in Ke­waskum with Fa­ther Patrick Magnor of­fi­ci­at­ing. Bur­ial was in St. Matthew Catholic Church Ceme­tery, Camp­bell­sport.
The fam­ily would like to thank all the first re­spon­ders for their ser­vice and care.
