Mayville Polling Place Moved From City Hall to Park Pavilion

City of Mayville citizens wishing to vote in person in the November 3 General Election will do so at the Mayville Park Pavilion, not City Hall.
According to Mayor Rob Boelk, there is no room to adequately distance in the meeting room at Mayville City Hall.
“The park pavilion has adequate space to accommodate voters,” pointed out Boelk during the September 14 meeting of the Common Council.
Council members approved the voting venue change resolution with a unanimous vote of 6-0.
Boelk credited Clerk Sara Decker with the suggestion to move the polling place, anticipating an increase of voters on election day.
In-person voting before the general election will be held at city hall for two weeks before the election.
